About Me

Hi!! I’m Elli—a portrait photographer based in St. Louis, Missouri, with a passion for capturing people as they truly are. I first picked up a camera when I was eight years old, photographing a bright red cardinal through a snow-covered tire swing. That single moment sparked my biggest passion, photography—and I haven’t put the camera down since.

Over the years, I’ve turned that passion into a profession, earning a BFA in Photography from the University of Missouri and an AFA in Graphic Design. From shooting high school football games for the yearbook to now working with seniors, families, couples, and children, I’ve developed a style rooted in connection, patience, and storytelling. Whether I’m behind the lens at a portrait session or deep into post-production, my focus is always on bringing out the beauty and individuality of each person I photograph.

My work has been featured in multiple student and juried art exhibitions, including the University of Missouri’s 2025 Chancellor’s Art Showcase and the Visual Art and Design Showcase. I’ve also been interviewed by Bold Journey Magazine about my creative journey and growing my own photography business.

Outside of photography, I’m a nanny and someone who deeply values human connection. I believe everyone we meet shapes us in some way—and I can't wait to meet you, hear your story, and create images that reflect the real you.
